I chose this scene from the Parthenon frieze, depicting the wedding crasher centaurs versus the Lapiths. I wanted to add a modern wave of colour to the work of art, scrubbed bare as part of its "restoration". For the theme of Friends & Enemies I thought this piece depicted the collapse of any positive relationship, cementing their foe status in this recurring theme of the centauromachy.
